A listener reported:
This was a truly amazing show! The playing was equally good as in February and the band was absolutely fantastic. Especially the new rhythm section and Doyle Bramhall II were doing a great job.

Highlights were Little Wing, Double Trouble (phenomenal playing by Eric and enhanced by Doyle as a support), Outside Woman Blues (like Doyle played it a Crossroads 2007) and Little Queen of Spades (absolutely mind blowing). But even the familiar songs (Cocaine – nice bluesy solo and Layla) were presented in a great way. Don’t Knock My Love (a 1971 song recorded and released as a single by Wilson Pickett?) was interesting to hear too. I haven’t heard Eric playing Rockin’ Chair (written by Hoagy Carmichael) before, it was slow, ballad type of song.
